• JIT Compiler:  JIT means just in time compiler. It's the most important feature of PHP 8.0 which works with the opcache to increase the execution performance. JIT compiles opcode into machine code right before it’s run for output. we need to understand the PHP script execution stages, which are:

1. Lex Analysis

2. Parser

3. Compilation

4. Execution

             This process takes more execution time and resources where the jit compiler saves the opcode in opcache when compilation is done and when same execution of code calls jit compiler execute the opcode from opcache. Opcache was present in PHP 7.4 also but there was a downside of this in 7.4 version opcode not stores in machine language so during execution conversion of opcode to machine language take resources and execution time where in jit compiler in PHP8.0 opcode store in machine language which saves the time and resources.
